Well…  the Griffith Observatory is a really fun place to shoot BUT NOT when they are celebrating some 30th anniversary of some space shuttle!!!  LOL  The place was a zoo!  Marissa and Bobby were great, though.  They are a fun couple and I am super excited for their wedding next Fall.  Enjoy the pictures!

Shelly and Aaron’s wedding is next weekend!!!!  I can’t wait.  Here are their darling engagement pictures.  We found a really cool place in downtown Murrieta.  Kinda random actually!  Aaron and Shelley are so sweet and fun together.  What an easy couple to photograph! 

Well its been sometime since I took the long windy drive to Baldy.  This is was the local hot spot when I was growing up, you know the place where all the teenagers would drive up to late at night, not that I was one of those teenagers, I’ve only heard stories.  Jeni and Jason love the outdoors and were thrilled to start off their engagement shoot in the wooded streams of Mount Baldy.  I am always amazed by what you can find in your own backyard, such a perfect little spot.  To bad I had a camera instead of a picnic .  After our mountain adventure we headed to Claremont for a bit more color and choose a few of my favorite spots in downtown.  Jeni and Jason were absolutely wonderful to work with, but this was not my first time photographing them . . . I met Jeni and Jason last April when Jo Ann and Albert got married.  Jeni and Jo Ann are sisters and I was thrilled to have the chance to work with this amazing family again.   I could not be more happy for Jeni and Jason and I can’t wait to see everyone again this fall!

Shooting at the Natural History Museum in LA was definitely a fun and new challenge!  I had never worked with bones before!  The reason we picked this location was because Rocky actually proposed to Kambria inside the museum.  He had her ring set up in a special glass case in the precious stones section on the museum.  Isn’t that a brilliant idea?!?  Enjoy…

Caren and Lynard are the sweetist Zombie slaying couple I have ever meet!  Yes, you heard right…  They slay zombies!  Or at least they do in their imagination and love to get caught up in a good zombie movie!  This is the couple were we did a Zombie themed engagement session.  Amanda posted the film a while back if you want to take a look.  It’s pretty funny!  Anyway…  Caren and Lynard got married at Coyote Hills Country Club.  Their day wedding was wonderful.  My absolute favorite part was when Caren broke out her guitar and sang her vows to Lynard.  Such a sweet moment!  Enjoy the pictures…

Trisha and Michael had a darling wedding at the Nixon Library!  I just loved shooting there.  What a beautiful venue.  They incorporated wine into their wedding have a “wine themed” wedding.  Michael is a wine distributor and knows a ton about wines, so this theme was perfect for them!  My favorite part of the day was when the family shared a toast at the alter during the ceremony.  I also loved how giddy and excited Michael and Trisha were to start the rest of their lives together.  It was a super fun day!  Enjoy…

I love shooting at the beach . . . wait let me restate that . . . I love shooting in cute little beach towns, not actually on the beach.  The actual surface, the sun, the waves, and horizon of a beach can be a big pain the in the you know what.  So when Roselie explained that she wanted to shoot at the beach but not on the beach I was thrilled.  Roselie and Ryan were just darling to work with, I loved their super hip style, with just a little bit of fun!  We started off in Downtown Laguna, and then headed towards the hills of Irvine.  And I know most people don’t know this, but Irvine has some pretty amazing hiking trails with some beautiful views.  We must have also made it to the hills during a very special time of year . . . the time when all the caterpillars come out before they turn . . .  so we were surrounded by hundreds of caterpillars, I am guessing that means in a few weeks the hills will be full of butterflies.  Anyway, enjoy the photos!

I always LOVE shooting at Disneyland!!!  Lindsay and Deric are big fans of the Magic Kingdom and we had so much fun running around to their favorite spots for their engagement pictures.  They are a lovely and fun couple and know way too much information about Disneyland!!!  LOL  It was the perfect place for them.  Enjoy the pictures!
