Wedding by April
I am really excited about 2010! I just love all of the brides and grooms that are on my calendar and I am looking forward to each and every wedding… (especially the ones that are in Sonoma County! I have three up there this year and I just can’t wait to shoot there again!)
My first wedding this year happened the first weekend in January when Carmel and Jorge tied the knot at the Scared Heart Catholic Church in Rancho Cucamonga (my home town!!!). Planning this wedding from New York, they pulled off a fantastic day! The reception was a Victoria Gardens in the Cultural Center. I have always wanted to shoot at this location, but security is really strict about photography there (meaning they don’t allow it at all!). I wanted to take full advantage of having a beautiful bride and handsome groom so we paraded around the mall getting all kinds of great shots. But sure enough, security kicked us out… It was a good thing that we had finished all the good shots when they caught us!
Carmel and Jorge’s wedding was the perfect beginning to 2010! It was a pure blessing to get to know them. We did their engagement session earlier that week so I really felt buddy-buddy with them by the time we said good-bye at their reception. I just love it when I connect with my couples! Plus, they were super fun to work with. Aren’t they just adorable?!? Normally, I show off a couple pictures from the ceremony and reception in a wedding post on my blog. These two were just so darn cute I just focused on them for the post. I don’t think you will mind!
